Following the Knights Corner, we have removed the lid of an Intel Knights Landing processor to measure its die size.
I was told that the chip is broken at the time I acquired it, so I didn't hesitate to disassemble it.
This time again, the heat spreader and the die was thermally connected using grease.
The die measures approximately 20.5 mm × 31.5 mm, so the die size would be around 645.8 mm2.
MCDRAM chips are sourced from Micron.
